The Eminent Zoologist of the 19th Century; as Valenciennes; had still used the grammatical rules of Classical Latin for named the new animals.
Johan Coenraad van Hasselt was latinized as Hasseltius in Nominative form by Valenciennes, and as Hasseltii in Genitive form as in Osteochilus hasseltii (Valenciennes, 1842).
I am still being wondered why the ICZN of the end of 20th and begining of 21st Century, allow Zoologists to used ungrammatical Latin as Zoological Name!
Let's use the grammatical Latin in Zoological name as in Botanical nomenclature.
