Are you sure it is T. mbu? I am not sure whether or not T. mbu is avaliable for sale in Thailand in the present. It was imported at least once 1-2 years ago [young fish sold at a price around 4 figures]. The related T. fahaka, however, is imported quite a few times as babies and young fishes, and they are much cheaper [babies are around 250 - 1,000 bht]. Both species are closely related [mbu has longer caudal fin and more reticulated color pattern but fahaka has beautiful yellow lines and dark green bands similar to zebra danio when grows up].

You mean Khun Exotic fish? Anyway Tapienthong sold a few mbu early last year. I don't know if mbu was sold anywhere else. BTW why are you angry with what I had written?
