This cnidaria is a prey of violet bubble snails(Janthina prolongata, J. pallida) and all spp. of this genus. If you see this, looking for that snail too, when the snail finished their spawning time, then washed ashore. I saw some around Haad Chaosamrarn, and many at rayong in late May to June. I dont know this season may be???

Again, these  two animals are pelagic and oceanic fauna, living on the surface. Porpita also prey of sea lizard, a pelagic opistobranch mollusc, look like lizard with many finger, deep blue body.
