Wow! Nice article. Nature is in all tropical cities, and little animals are often the most interesting. Even some cities in cold countries have some nature secrets. Two years ago a South African friend (specialist of amphibians) came to visit me in Brussels, and I showed him, hidden in the parks and gardens, some Belgian natural treasures: the toad Bufo bufo, the enigmatic Alytes obstetricans, the frog Rana temporaria and my preferred amphibians, newts: the beautiful blue Triturus alpestris and the gracile, green T. vulgaris...
