I've seen a full-grown Gekko gecko ate a small house rat (Rattus rattus) with my own eyes.  The rat was eating left over fruit from my bird cage at night.  When I shooed it away, it ran up the rough cement wall where the Gecko was waiting.  The gecko striked at the head and there wasn't even a voice from the poor rat.
