Where would these gekko go to? How are they exported? Smuggling? Or is it domestic order?

They are ordered by domestic dealers for smuggling exported, mainly to Japan.

I'd read in magazines that C. pulchellus or something related was bred successfully overseas.

"Jingjokdin" refered to only genus Dixonius. Geckos genus Cyrtodatylus, called "Tuk Kay Pa" that so many species were bred successfully eg. C.pulchellus C.intermedius C.peguensis C.sp.leopardus, Thai species that I've known.
