Totally different, Thai sp. is Rhinoceros sondaicus, so call Javan Rhino. It ssp is. R. S. annamiticus which left only 8 rhinos in southern Viet nam, Nam Cat Tien NP. The Javan (nominal) ssp. is much larger and stout body. This javan rhino have 3 ssp. Burmese-Bangladesh R. s. badius (possible EX); Vietnaese-Thai as above, and nominal one of Java, only 70 left in Udjung Kulon, west tip of Java. It was cropping pest in Java!!?? and roam around Jarkata up to all island. In thailand Sunthorn Phu, record it from Rayang, and its subfossil teeth found in ChaoPhraya R. at Ayuthya. The Indian one is R. unicornis, only from upper Indian subcontinent, may be 1-2000 left.
