to my appreciation appearence closer to Betta chini (Ng 1993)

Betta chini is member of Betta akarensis species-group (Witt&Smidt, 1992) that include five species: B. akarensis(central Sarawak), B. climacura(eastern Sarawak and Brunei), B. chini(Northeastern Kalimantan) and B. blunga(Eastern Sabah). All of this species group external character very closely just only number of fin rays, number of transverse scale.etc.
