Thank you for the beautiful photos. I think it's likely to be a new species I have described and now in review. I guess it's from the upper part of  southern Thailand?

Though it looks like Magnolia to some extent, it's in the family Annonaceae krub. Magnoliaceae and Annonaceae are related families grouped in the same order, the Magnoliales.
